Junpeng Liang is a researcher and designer based in London, working at the intersection of computational design, material experimentation and digital fabrication. His practice explores how material behaviour, biological processes and manufacturing techniques inform the design of objects, wearables and architectural surfaces.

Through physical prototypes, installations and speculative projects, he investigates the relationship between designed systems and the conditions in which they operate. His work considers how growth, environmental change and time participate in making, alongside the cultural and ethical implications of reshaping living systems through technology.
