Practice / 02

Design is not a tool for making objects. It is a laboratory for possible forms of life.

Junpeng’s practice moves across art, science and technology. His installations treat surfaces as archives and material behaviours as evidence of unseen relationships.

Through bio-based matter, additive fabrication and computational processes, he builds unfamiliar ecologies that sit between the grown and the manufactured.
